Function and Efficacy
Epristeramide is a new type of anti-competitive 5alpha-reductase inhibitor, which can form a ternary complex with 5alpha-reductase and NADF, thereby inhibiting the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone and reducing the water content of dihydrotestosterone in the prostate, leading to the atrophy of the hyperplastic prostate, thus achieving the purpose of treating prostate hyperplasia.

This product is white or off-white tablets.
Indication
Aplit tablets are suitable for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and improvement of symptoms related to benign prostatic hyperplasia.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 1 tablet (5 mg) each time, once in the morning and evening, before or after meals, for 4 months or as directed by your doctor.
Adverse Reactions
Nausea, loss of appetite, abdominal distension, diarrhea, dry mouth, dizziness, insomnia, general fatigue, rash, decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, decreased ejaculation volume, tinnitus, ear congestion, hip pain, etc. can be seen, with an incidence of about 6.63%. In the Phase IV clinical study of this product, the incidence of abnormal laboratory tests was 2.49%, including abnormal liver function (increased aminotransferase, increased total bilirubin), abnormal renal function (increased urea nitrogen, increased creatinine), and abnormal blood routine (decreased hemoglobin, decreased white blood cells, and decreased platelets). The relationship between abnormal renal function and blood routine and this product has not yet been determined.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to the components of this product.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Not applicable. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Contraindicated. Precautions for the elderly: Although the plasma clearance of this product is reduced in patients over 70 years old, it has no clinical significance, so there is no need to adjust the dose for elderly patients.
