This product is a non-pathogenic oral bacterial preparation, which is made from inactivated dried bacteria obtained from liquid culture of non-pathogenic Staphylococcus aureus. Experiments show that it has an antitussive strength similar to that of codeine and can directly act on the cough center of the medulla oblongata. It has a significant antitussive effect on acute cough, and the higher the dose, the stronger the antitussive effect. It also regulates the function of the autonomic nervous system and can significantly reduce the amount of sputum. Long-term use of this product can produce nonspecific immune effects. The intensity of the phytohemagglutinin (PHA) skin test reaction and the content of IgA in sputum after treatment are significantly increased compared with before treatment.
