Appearance
This medicine contains 0.5% propoxyphencaine hydrochloride and 0.01% benzalkonium chloride. Molecular formula: C16H27N2O3Cl, molecular weight: 330.85.
Indication
Used for surface anesthesia in various ophthalmic surgeries and ophthalmic examinations.
Usage and Dosage
1. For measuring intraocular pressure: 1-2 drops, about 20 seconds to have a full anesthetic effect, can last for 15 minutes, no mydriasis. 2. For cataract extraction: drop one drop every 5-10 minutes, repeat 5-7 times.
