Zinc gluconate nasal spray

This product acts in the nasal cavity, allowing zinc ions to penetrate into the nasal mucosal tissue and bind to the ICAM-1 receptors on the nasal tissue, thereby inhibiting the replication of rhinovirus. Clinical studies have shown that using this product at the onset of a cold can shorten the course of the disease and alleviate cold symptoms.

This product is a colorless viscous liquid. When the valve is pressed, the liquid will spray out in a line.

Dosage: Spray once in each nostril, once every 2-4 hours, no more than 6 times in 24 hours, until the symptoms subside. After the symptoms subside, it can be used for 1 day. 1 Before using this product, clear the blockage in the nasal cavity. 2 Remove the safety pin and protective cap on the medicine bottle. 3 Hold the bottom of the bottle with your thumb and hold the nozzle between two fingers. 4 Before the first use, hold the medicine bottle vertically and press it several times until a viscous liquid can be sprayed out in a line. 5 Insert the top of the nozzle of the medicine bottle into the nostril about 3mm, and tilt the nozzle slightly outward in the nostril. Spray once in each nostril. To avoid possible irritation, do not inhale the gel. 6 After spraying, gently pinch the outside of each nostril for about 5 seconds. 7 After each use, wipe the nozzle clean, cover it with a plastic protective cap, and then install the safety pin. With normal use, each bottle can be used to treat more than 4 colds.

People with damaged nasal mucosa or those who use this product for the first time may feel slight pain or burning in the nasal mucosa, which will disappear after about 5 minutes of use or when the drug is stopped.

This product is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to zinc preparations.

This product is used topically in the nasal cavity and does not affect the blood zinc concentration in the body, so it has no interaction with any other drugs administered by other routes. If other drugs for nasal administration are to be used at the same time, the medication time should be staggered. Avoid using it topically in the nasal cavity at the same time as tetracycline, polyvalent phosphates, and penicillamine drugs.
