Bisacodyl Enteric-coated Tablets

This product is rarely absorbed after oral administration and acts directly on the large intestine, stimulating its sensory nerve endings, causing increased rectal reflex peristalsis and leading to defecation.

Bisacodyl

This product is enteric-coated tablets, which appear white after removing the enteric coating.

Used for acute, chronic constipation and habitual constipation.

Oral administration. Children over 6 years old, 1 tablet at a time; adults, 1-2 tablets at a time; once a day. Swallow the whole tablet.

1. Occasionally may cause significant abdominal cramps, which disappears after drug discontinuation; 2. Rectal administration is sometimes irritating; 3. There are reports that it may cause excessive diarrhea.

1. Patients who are allergic to this product are prohibited from using it. 2. Patients with suspected appendicitis, gastroenteritis, rectal bleeding and acute abdomen with intestinal obstruction are prohibited from using it.

Precautions for children: Not for use in children under 6 years old. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Not for use in pregnant women.
