Trospium Chloride Tablets
Function and Efficacy
This product is a synthetic tropic acid derivative with four ammonium structures. It is a parasympathetic nerve blocker with similar effects to atropine. It mainly works by competitively binding with the endogenous neurotransmitter acetylcholine to the postsynaptic membrane M-receptor. It reduces the tension of the parasympathetic nerves and removes the smooth muscle spasms caused by the parasympathetic nerves in the organs controlled by the parasympathetic nerves. It also has a certain effect on the gastrointestinal tract, bile duct and urinary tract. This product has low lipid solubility and is not easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier, and will not produce side effects of the central nervous system. Acute and chronic toxicity experiments on two rodents showed that the observable side effects were caused by the increase in pharmacodynamic activity, rather than specific target organ toxicity, and there was no difference between sexes. There was no reproductive toxicity at the maximum tolerated dose, and in vivo and in vitro experiments showed no gene mutation and carcinogenic effects.

Drug Interactions
1. Enhance the anticholinergic effect of drugs: such as amantadine, tricyclic antidepressants, quinidine antihistamines and verapamil; enhance the cardiotonic effect of β-sympathomimetic drugs; reduce the positive motility of drugs such as metoclopramide and cisapride. 2. Since trospchloramine can affect the motility and secretion of the gastrointestinal tract, it cannot be ruled out that trospchloramine will affect the absorption of other drugs taken at the same time. 3. Since it cannot be ruled out that guar gum (Guar), cholestyramine and other drugs inhibit the absorption of trospchloramine, it is not recommended to use these drugs with trospchloramine. 4. In vitro experiments show that trospchloramine can affect the metabolism of cytochrome enzymes P450 related to drug metabolism (P4501A2, 2A6, 2C9, 2C19, 2D19, 2D6, 2E1, 3A4) to other
