Function and Efficacy

A broad-spectrum quinolone antibacterial agent. It has strong bactericidal activity against Gram-negative bacteria, Gram-positive bacteria and some anaerobic bacteria. In vivo antibacterial efficacy tests in animal infection models show that this product is superior to norfloxacin and enoxacin.

Ingredients

The main ingredient of this product is lomefloxacin hydrochloride. Its chemical name is 1-ethyl-6,8-difluoro-1,4-dihydro-7-(3-methyl-1-piperazinyl)-4-oxo-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid hydrochloride. Molecular formula: C17H19F2N3O3. HCl molecular weight: 387.81

Indication

Suitable for the following infections caused by sensitive bacteria. 1. Respiratory tract infections: acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis with infection, acute bronchitis, pneumonia, etc. 2. Urinary and reproductive system infections: acute cystitis, acute pyelonephritis, complicated urinary tract infection, acute exacerbation of chronic urinary tract infection, acute and chronic prostatitis, simple gonorrhea, etc. 3. Infections of the abdominal biliary tract, intestines, typhoid fever, etc. 4. Skin and soft tissue infections. 5. Other infections, such as sinusitis, otitis media, blepharitis, etc.

Usage and Dosage

Intravenous drip: 0.2g once, twice a day, add 5% glucose or 0.9% saline 250ml and drip intravenously, each bottle drip time is about 60 minutes. Urinary tract infection 0.1g once every 12 hours, usage as above, course of treatment 7 to 14 days, or follow the doctor's advice.

Adverse Reactions

Some patients may experience upper and middle abdominal discomfort, poor appetite, nausea, dry mouth, mild headache, dizziness and other symptoms. Occasionally, they may experience allergic reactions such as rash and itchy skin, palpitations, chest tightness, etc. Occasionally, the levels of alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase or urea nitrogen (BUN) may be elevated.

Precautions

Patients who are allergic to this product or other quinolones are contraindicated.
