It has antibacterial effect on the following obligate anaerobic bacteria: 1. Gram-negative anaerobic bacilli: Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides vulgaris, Bacteroides gibbsii, Bacteroides ovale, Bacteroides polymorpha, etc. of the Bacteroides genus and the genus Fusobacterium. 2. Gram-positive anaerobic bacilli: Eubacterium genus, Clostridium genus. 3. Gram-positive anaerobic cocci: Peptococcus genus and Peptostreptococcus genus.

Metronidazole

White or off-white tablets.

Suitable for the treatment of gingivitis, periodontitis and pericoronitis.

Place the product between the gums and the gingival-buccal groove, one tablet at a time, after meals, three times a day, and add one tablet before going to bed, the course of treatment is 4 to 12 days. Or follow the doctor's advice.

Allergic reactions such as dry mouth and mucosal irritation may occur occasionally. Long-term use may cause changes in taste, which may disappear after stopping the drug.
