Estrogen drugs. They can cause endometrial hyperplasia, enhance uterine smooth muscle contraction, and promote breast development and hyperplasia. Large doses inhibit the release of prolactin, counteract the effects of androgens, and increase calcium deposition in bones.

Indication
1. Supplementation of estrogen deficiency, such as atrophic vaginitis, female gonadal dysfunction, vulvar dryness, menopausal vasomotor symptoms, oophorectomy, primary ovarian failure, etc. 2. Advanced prostate cancer (breast cancer, ovarian cancer patients are prohibited). 3. Combined with progesterone drugs, it can inhibit ovulation. 4. Amenorrhea, abnormal menstruation, functional uterine bleeding, uterine dysplasia.
Usage and Dosage
1 For menopausal syndrome, 1-2 mg intramuscularly once, 2-3 times a week. 2 Uterine hypoplasia, 1-2 mg once, intramuscularly once every 2-3 days. 3 Functional uterine bleeding, 1 mg-2 mg intramuscularly daily, reduce the dose as appropriate after the bleeding is clear, and withdraw with progesterone at a later date. 4 Weaning, 2 mg intramuscularly daily, reduce the dose after no more than 3 days or change to a small amount of oral medication until it takes effect.
Adverse Reactions
There may be nausea, headache, breast tenderness, and occasionally thrombosis, rash, water and sodium retention, etc.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with thrombophlebitis, pulmonary embolism, liver and kidney diseases, estrogen-related tumors (such as breast cancer, vaginal cancer, cervical cancer) and pregnant women.
Drug Interactions
When used in combination with hypoglycemic drugs, their hypoglycemic effect may be weakened and the dosage should be adjusted.
