Acetaminophen extended-release tablets

This product can inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins, so it has antipyretic and analgesic effects. This product consists of two parts: a quick-release layer and a sustained-release layer. After oral administration, the acetaminophen in the quick-release layer dissolves rapidly and is absorbed, producing an antipyretic and analgesic effect, while the sustained-release layer slowly releases acetaminophen, making the effect last for 8 hours.

This product is a white film-coated irregular tablet, which appears white or off-white after the film coating is removed.

It is suitable for fever and headache caused by colds, and for relieving mild to moderate pain such as joint pain, muscle pain, neuralgia, migraine, toothache, and dysmenorrhea.

Oral administration: Adults: 1-2 tablets at a time, children aged 12-18: 1 tablet at a time, once every 8 hours, no more than 6 tablets in 24 hours.

Adverse reactions such as rash, urticaria, drug fever and granulocytopenia are occasionally seen. Long-term or large-scale use of the drug at one time may lead to abnormal liver and kidney function.
