This product can counteract histamine and acetylcholine, relieve bronchospasm and calm asthma, and also has a strong inhibitory effect on the cough center; this product can cause increased secretion, thin thick sputum, reduce sputum viscosity, and make it easier to cough up; this product has a similar effect as aminophylline in relaxing bronchial smooth muscles. This product can also increase the electrical stimulation threshold of the cerebral cortex, inhibit the synaptic conduction of electrical stimulation and the spread of epileptic electricity.

Used for pneumonia, bronchial asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease accompanied by cough, sputum, wheezing, etc.

Intravenous drip: Adults: 16-24 mg (calculated as asarone) once; Children: 0.5 mg (calculated as asarone)/kg once, twice a day.

A small number of people may experience mild adverse reactions, such as dry mouth, dizziness, nausea, stomach discomfort, palpitations, constipation, and rarely shock.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product.

1. It has a synergistic effect on the central nervous system when used in combination with reserpine or chlorpromazine. 2. This product can enhance the hypnotic effect of barbiturates.
