Function and Efficacy
This product is an ester of acetaminophen and aspirin. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic drug. Its mechanism of action is mainly to inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandins to produce analgesic, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic effects. It is less irritating to the gastrointestinal tract than aspirin. The efficacy is similar to that of aspirin, and the duration of action is longer than that of aspirin and acetaminophen. Results of acute toxicity test: the oral LD50 of rats is 10000mg/kg, and the intraperitoneal injection LD50 is 1830mg/kg; the oral LD50 of mice is 2000mg/kg, and the intraperitoneal injection LD50 is 1255mg/kg.

Indication
Used for fever, headache, neuralgia, toothache and mild to moderate pain after surgery, etc.
Usage and Dosage
Common oral dosage for adults: 0.5-1.0g at a time, 3-4 times a day, and the course of treatment should not exceed 10 days. For the elderly, the dosage should not exceed 2.6g per day, and the course of treatment should not exceed 5 days.
Adverse Reactions
1. Gastrointestinal reactions are mild, including nausea, heartburn, indigestion and constipation, and there are also reports of diarrhea. 2. It can cause rash. 3. It can cause neuropsychiatric symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness and disorientation. 4. It has the risk of causing Reye's syndrome in children with acute febrile diseases, especially influenza and chickenpox. It is rare in China. 5. Long-term use of the drug can affect liver function, and there are reports of causing liver cell necrosis. 6. Long-term use may cause analgesic nephropathy.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with liver and kidney dysfunction, allergy to aspirin and acetaminophen, and those who have experienced asthma, rhinitis, and nasal polyposis syndrome caused by other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
