Glucomannan capsules are natural fiber plant polysaccharides that are not absorbed in the intestines. They have strong water binding and water holding properties. After absorbing water, their volume expands by more than 50 times, so they can increase the fecal pit and fecal water content, making the feces fluffy and moist, which is conducive to excretion. The increase in the volume of the intestinal cavity stimulates the intestinal wall and reflexively enhances intestinal peristalsis, thereby shortening the interval between defecation and the average time of one defecation, making defecation natural and smooth without diarrhea. Glucomannan capsules absorb water and expand to become a viscous sol, which can increase the viscosity of food and cover the surface of the intestinal mucosa to form a diffusion barrier. At the same time, they adsorb and bind to a part of sugar substances and take them out of the body, thereby limiting the diffusion and absorption of sugar in the intestine, reducing sugar absorption, and smoothing blood sugar after a meal. Glucomannan capsules can adsorb and bind to cholesterol in the intestine and take it out of the body, thereby reducing the body's absorption of neutral fat and cholesterol; by inhibiting the active transport of bile acid by the intestinal mucosa, partially blocking the enterohepatic circulation of bile acid, reducing its reabsorption, and playing a role in lowering blood lipids.

This product is a capsule, the contents are white or light yellow granular powder, with a small amount of black particles; slight odor.

It is used for habitual constipation, senile constipation, and can also be used to prevent and treat hyperlipidemia and diabetes.

Oral. Constipation adults: 2-4 capsules at a time, children: 1-2 capsules, 3 times a day, the first dose can be doubled; after the effect is seen, the maintenance dose is 3-6 capsules/day, which can be taken all at once; all taken on an empty stomach, and taken with 150ml of warm water. Diabetes, hyperlipidemia: 3-4 capsules at a time, 3 times a day, take on an empty stomach.

Some patients feel thirsty and can drink more water; most patients have mild abdominal distension, which can be eliminated by continuing to take medication and will disappear on its own after defecation.
