Compound Embryonic Liver Iron Ammonium Tablets
Function and Efficacy
The proteins, peptides, steroid hormones and mucopolysaccharides contained in the placenta act on all aspects of the body, strengthen the body's life process and resistance to harmful factors, and have immune and anti-allergic effects. Liver extract contains anti-anemia, nucleic acid degradation products, peptides, amino acid vitamins, etc., which play their respective roles in pernicious anemia, hepatitis, and cirrhosis. Ammonium ferric citrate is a trivalent iron agent. Gastric acid and amino acids in liver extract help Fe3 to become Fe2, promoting iron absorption. After ferrous ions enter the blood, they are immediately oxidized to trivalent iron ions and combine with transferrin in plasma to become blood iron. Blood iron uses transferrin as a carrier and is transported to various iron storage tissues in the body for bone marrow hematopoiesis. Vitamin B1 combines with tricarboxylic acid adenosine to form vitamin B1 pyrophosphate, which is a coenzyme necessary for carbohydrate metabolism; vitamin B1 can inhibit the activity of cholinesterase. When it is deficient, the activity of cholinesterase is enhanced, and the hydrolysis of acetylcholine is accelerated, causing nerve impulse conduction disorders and affecting gastrointestinal and cardiac muscle function. Vitamin B2 is converted into flavin mononucleotide and flavin adenine dinucleotide, both of which are important coenzymes for tissue respiration and can activate vitamin B6, which is related to maintaining the integrity of red blood cells.
