Function and Efficacy
This product is a vitamin drug. Vitamin B6 is converted into pyridoxal phosphate in red blood cells and acts as a coenzyme in various metabolic functions of proteins, carbohydrates, and lipids. It also participates in the conversion of tryptophan into niacin or 5-hydroxytryptamine.
Ingredients
The main ingredient of this product is vitamin B6. Its chemical name is 6-methyl-5-hydroxy-3,4-pyridine dimethanol hydrochloride.

Appearance
This product is a colorless or slightly yellow clear liquid.
Indication
1. Suitable for the prevention and treatment of vitamin B6 deficiency, prevention and treatment of isoniazid poisoning; can also be used for vomiting caused by pregnancy, radiation sickness and anticancer drugs, seborrheic dermatitis, etc. 2. Vitamin B6 supplementation for total parenteral nutrition and malnutrition caused by insufficient intake, and progressive weight loss. 3. The requirement for vitamin B6 increases in the following situations: pregnancy and lactation, hyperthyroidism, burns, long-term chronic infection, fever, congenital metabolic disorders (cystathionuria, hyperoxalate, homocystinuria, xanthine aciduria), congestive heart failure, long-term hemodialysis, malabsorption syndrome with hepatobiliary system diseases (such as alcoholism with cirrhosis), intestinal diseases (celiac disease, tropical stomatitis enteritis, localized enteritis, persistent diarrhea), and after gastrectomy. 4. Neonatal hereditary vitamin B6 dependence syndrome.
Usage and Dosage
Subcutaneous injection, intramuscular injection or intravenous injection, 50mg-100mg once a day. When used for the detoxification of cycloserine poisoning, 300mg or more per day. When used for the detoxification of isoniazid poisoning, 1g of vitamin B6 is injected intravenously for every 1g of isoniazid.
Adverse Reactions
Vitamin B6 is almost non-toxic when renal function is normal. Allergic reactions are rare. If 200 mg is used daily for more than 30 days, it may cause dependence syndrome.

Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: There is no research data on the safety and effectiveness of this product in children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women who receive large amounts of vitamin B6 may develop vitamin B6 dependence syndrome in newborns. The normal intake of breastfeeding mothers has no adverse effects on infants. Precautions for the elderly: There is no research data on the safety and effectiveness of this product in the elderly.
Drug Interactions
1. Chloramphenicol, cycloserine, ethionamide, hydralazine hydrochloride, immunosuppressants including adrenocortical hormones, cyclophosphamide, cyclosporine, isoniazid, penicillamine and other drugs can antagonize vitamin B6 or increase the renal excretion of vitamin B6, which can cause anemia or peripheral neuritis. 2. The dosage of vitamin B6 should be increased when taking estrogen. 3. Levodopa combined with a small dose of vitamin B6 (5 mg per day) can antagonize the anti-tremor effect of levodopa.
