Progestogens act on the endometrium and promote the proliferation and secretion of the endometrium. Through negative feedback to the hypothalamus, they inhibit the release of luteinizing hormone from the anterior pituitary and inhibit the ovulation process of the ovary. Appearance
This product is white tablets.
Indication
It can be used for irregular menstruation, functional uterine bleeding and endometriosis, etc. It can also be used for advanced breast cancer and endometrial cancer.
Usage and Dosage
1 Functional amenorrhea: oral, 4-8 mg per day, for 5-10 consecutive days; 2 Endometrial cancer: oral, 100 mg once, 3 times a day, or oral 500 mg, 1 to 2 times a day, as a maintenance dose after intramuscular injection.
Adverse Reactions
Some women have irregular bleeding. When treating tumors, high doses may cause Cushing's syndrome. Long-term use may cause abnormal liver function.
Precautions
Patients with impaired liver and kidney function, patients with a history of thrombosis such as cerebral infarction, myocardial infarction, thrombophlebitis, undiagnosed bleeding from sexual organs, urinary tract bleeding, and a history of allergy to this product are contraindicated. Pregnant and lactating women are contraindicated.
