Artesunate for injection

The main ingredient of this product is artesunate.

This product is suitable for the rescue of cerebral malaria and various severe malaria.

Intravenous injection. Before use, add 0.6 ml of the attached 5% sodium bicarbonate injection, shake for 2 minutes, and after it is completely dissolved, add 5.4 ml of 5% glucose injection or glucose sodium chloride injection to dilute it so that each 1 ml of solution contains 10 mg of artesunate, and slowly inject it intravenously. 1 vial for the first time (or 1.2 mg/kg according to body weight), 1.5 mg/kg according to body weight for children under 7 years old. Repeat the injection once each 4, 24, and 48 hours after the first dose. For critically ill patients, the first dose can be increased to 120 mg, and a course of treatment is 3 days, with a total dose of 240-300 mg.
