Phthalide cream

This product is an antiviral drug. It has anti-Chlamydia trachomatis and anti-herpes virus activity. Its mechanism of action is mainly to inhibit viral DNA and early protein synthesis. Phthalidine cannot directly inhibit herpes virus type II DNA polymerase, nor can it directly inactivate herpes virus. This product has a certain antifungal effect on dermatophytes.

Main ingredient: Phthalocyanine, whose chemical name is 3-phthalimido-2-oxobutyraldehyde-1,2-bis(thiosemicarbazone) and dioxane.

This product is a yellow cream.

1. It is used for herpes zoster and herpes simplex, and also has a certain therapeutic effect on genital warts. 2. It can be used to treat superficial fungal infections, such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, tinea manuum and pedis, etc.

1. For herpes zoster, herpes simplex, and condyloma acuminatum, apply to the affected area 3 times a day. 2. For superficial fungal infection, apply to the affected area once in the morning and evening for 3 weeks for tinea corporis and 4 weeks for tinea manuum and pedis.

In a few cases, there are local itching and irritation reactions, such as skin erythema, papules and itching.

Patients allergic to phthalate are contraindicated.

Precautions for children: There is a lack of data on the use of this drug in children. It is generally not used for infants and young children. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Pregnant women are prohibited from using this drug. There is a lack of data on the use of this drug in lactating women, so it is not suitable for use. Precautions for the elderly: Follow the doctor's advice.

1. When used in combination with cholestyramine (cholestyramine), the average blood concentration of cephalexin can be reduced. 2. Probenecid can delay the renal excretion of this product. There are also reports that probenecid can increase the excretion of this product in bile.
