Isatis root granules

① Antibacterial and antiviral effects Isatis indigotica has effects on a variety of bacteria. The water extract has inhibitory effects on Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, octa-synuclein, Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhi, Paratyphoid A, Shigella dysenteriae (Shigella, Freundii), Enterobacteriaceae, etc.; the acetone extract has similar effects, and is effective against hemolytic streptococci (all using agar microplate method). The antibacterial effect on type A meningococci is similar to that of garlic and honeysuckle. Some people believe that the effective antibacterial and antiviral ingredients of Isatis indigotica and Isatis indigotica are indigo glycosides. Experiments have shown that indigo glycosides have no antibacterial effects both in vivo and in vitro; the antiviral effect in vitro is not prominent; and it is excreted quickly in the body, so it is believed that it has no obvious physiological and antibacterial activity. Its effective ingredients are yet to be studied. ② Anti-leptospiral effect Isatis indigotica or Isatis indigotica with a ratio of more than 1:100 have the effect of killing leptospires in test tubes. ③ Detoxification effect: It has been reported that taking Isatis root, Coptis chinensis powder and Veratrum together (2.0 g/kg each) can detoxify Veratrum and reduce mortality; if used after Veratrum poisoning, it will be ineffective; using Isatis root powder or Coptis chinensis powder alone will also have poor effects.

Isatis root. The auxiliary materials are sucrose and dextrin.

Brown or tan are granules; taste sweet or bitter.

Take with boiled water, 5-10g at a time (including sucrose), 3-4 times a day.
