Function and Efficacy
This product is a cholinesterase inhibitor that can pass through the blood-brain barrier. Pharmacological efficacy tests have shown that this product has a promoting effect on the passive avoidance operation acquisition of mice, and has a significant improvement on the memory consolidation disorder caused by scopolamine and sodium nitrite; it has a good promoting effect on the learning and memory reproduction of the light and dark discrimination operation of rats.

Indication
This product is suitable for benign memory disorders, improving patients' ability of directed memory, associative learning, image recall, meaningless pattern recognition and portrait recall, etc. It also has an improving effect on memory disorders caused by dementia patients and organic brain lesions.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 5 mg once, 4 times a day; after 3 days, change to 10 mg once, 4 times a day or as directed by your doctor.
Adverse Reactions
Nervous system: common symptoms include fatigue, dizziness, headache, tremor, insomnia, and dreaminess. Rare symptoms include hypertonia, paresthesia, aphasia, and hyperkinetic function. Gastrointestinal system: abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, anorexia, weight loss, indigestion, etc. Cardiovascular system: bradycardia and arrhythmia may be seen. Hypotension is rare. Blood system: anemia may be seen, and thrombocytopenia may occur occasionally. Endocrine and metabolic system: hyperglycemia may occur occasionally, and hypokalemia has been reported.
Precautions
1. Patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in this product are prohibited from using this product. 2. Galantamine is a cholinesterase inhibitor and is prohibited from use under anesthesia. 3. Patients with angina pectoris and bradycardia are prohibited from using this product. 4. Patients with severe asthma or pulmonary dysfunction are prohibited from using this product. 5. Patients with severe liver damage are prohibited from using this product. 6. Patients with severe kidney damage are prohibited from using this product. 7. Patients with mechanical intestinal obstruction are prohibited from using this product.
Drug Interactions
1. This product has the potential to weaken the therapeutic effect of anticholinergic drugs. 2. It has a synergistic effect when used in combination with cholinergic agents and other cholinesterase inhibitors. 3. This product can improve its bioavailability when used in combination with cimetidine and ketoconazole. 4. It can reduce the efficacy of this product when used in combination with erythromycin. 5. It has been reported that atrioventricular conduction block may occur when this product is used in combination with digoxin.
