Dementia refers to the decline and impairment of acquired occupational and social activity skills, cognitive decline, memory loss, visual-spatial skill impairment, loss of orientation, calculation, and judgment, and the emergence of personality, emotional, and behavioral changes in a progressive and aggravating process. The cause of Pick's disease is also unclear, and it may be a dominant genetic disease with multiple gene abnormalities. The pathology of Pick's disease is completely different from that of Alzheimer's disease. It is mainly characterized by localized cortical atrophy, and Pick's cells and Pick's bodies can be found. The disease begins with progressive dementia in middle age. It is a slow-onset personality change and social decline in the early stage, leading to a decline in intelligence, memory, and language function. In the late stage, it may manifest as apathy, euphoria, and occasional extrapyramidal symptoms.
