Phthalide cream

This product is an antiviral drug. It has anti-Chlamydia trachomatis and anti-herpes virus activity. Its mechanism of action is mainly to inhibit viral DNA and early protein synthesis. Phthalidine cannot directly inhibit herpes virus type II DNA polymerase, nor can it directly inactivate herpes virus. This product has a certain antifungal effect on dermatophytes.

Each gram of this product contains 0.03 grams of the main ingredient, phthalamide. The auxiliary materials are octadecyl alcohol, stearic acid, white vaseline, glyceryl monostearate, preservative (ethyl hydroxybenzoate), glycerin, and polysorbate 80.

This product is a yellow cream.

Used for herpes simplex and herpes zoster; can also be used for superficial fungal infections such as tinea corporis, tinea cruris, and tinea manuum and pedis.

For external use, apply to the affected area. When used to treat herpes simplex and herpes zoster, apply 3 times a day. When used to treat superficial fungal infections, apply once in the morning and evening. Use for 3 weeks for tinea corporis and tinea manuum and pedis, and for 4 weeks for tinea pedis and tinea corporis.

Adverse reactions are occasionally seen.

It is forbidden for pregnant women to use.
