Acyclovir cream

This product is a purine nucleoside antiviral drug. Its mechanism of action is to interfere with viral DNA polymerase and inhibit viral replication. It has an inhibitory effect on herpes simplex virus, varicella zoster virus, cytomegalovirus, etc.

The main ingredient of this product is acyclovir, each vial contains 0.3g of acyclovir, its chemical name is 9-(2-hydroxyethoxymethyl)guanine; the excipients are white vaseline, stearyl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, sodium lauryl sulfate, glycerin, emulsified silicone oil, and trichlorobutanol.

This product is a white ointment.

For herpes simplex or herpes zoster infections

For topical use, apply an appropriate amount of this product to the affected area, once every 2 hours for adults and children during the day, 4 to 6 times a day, for a total of 7 days.

Mild skin pain, burning pain and stinging are more common, followed by itching, and rash is rare.

It is contraindicated for those who are allergic to this product or its ingredients.
