Bismuth Potassium Citrate Tablets

The main ingredient of this product is bismuth tripotassium dicitrate. In the acidic environment of the stomach, it forms a diffuse protective layer covering the ulcer surface, preventing gastric acid, enzymes and food from invading the ulcer. This product also has the effects of reducing pepsin activity, increasing mucin secretion, and promoting the release of prostaglandins from the mucosa, thereby protecting the gastric mucosa. In addition, this product has a killing effect on Helicobacter pylori (HP), thus promoting the healing of gastritis.

The main ingredient of the product and its chemical name are: tripotassium bismuth dicitrate.

This product is white tablets or film-coated tablets.

1. Used for gastric and duodenal ulcers and chronic gastritis. 2. Used in combination with antibiotics to eradicate Helicobacter pylori.

Oral administration. Take 4 times a day, 1 pack each time, the first 3 times half an hour before meals, the 4th time 2 hours after dinner; or take 2 packs each morning and evening twice a day. Continuous use for 28 days is a course of treatment. If you continue to take it, follow the doctor's advice.

There are no obvious adverse reactions. The tongue coating and stool are gray-black during medication, which disappears on its own after stopping the medication.

It is contraindicated for patients with severe renal insufficiency and pregnant women.
