Drug Interactions
1 Large doses of vitamin C can interfere with the anticoagulant effect of anticoagulants. 2 When used in combination with barbiturates or primidone, it can increase the excretion of vitamin C. 3 Sodium cellulose phosphate can promote the metabolism of vitamin C into oxalate. 4 Long-term or large-scale use of vitamin C can interfere with the effect of disulfiram on ethanol. 5 Salicylic acid can increase the excretion of vitamin C. 6 It should not be used in combination with alkaline drugs (such as aminophylline, sodium bicarbonate, sodium glutamate, etc.), riboflavin, chlorobutanol, copper, and iron ion (trace) solutions to avoid affecting the efficacy. 7 When used in combination with vitamin K3, because the latter is oxidizing, it can produce a redox reaction, which will weaken or eliminate the efficacy of both.
