Function and Efficacy
It has antipyretic effect. It can inhibit the increase of rabbit body temperature caused by typhoid and paratyphoid A and B triple vaccine. It has antiasthmatic effect. It can prolong the incubation period of asthma caused by histamine phosphate in guinea pigs; in vitro experiments can relax guinea pig tracheal smooth muscle and inhibit the increase of tracheal reactivity caused by histamine acetylcholine. It has antitussive effect. It can reduce the number of coughs caused by ammonia in mice. It has antibacterial effect. It has inhibitory effect on hemolytic streptococci, Staphylococcus aureus, Shigella flexneri, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

Usage and Dosage
Take with boiled water. 1g each time for children under 2 years old, 1.5g each time for children aged 3 to 4 years old, 2g each time for children aged 5 to 7 years old. 3 to 4 times a day.
