This product is a mucolytic agent that can increase the secretion of the respiratory tract and reduce the secretion of mucus glands, thereby reducing the viscosity of sputum, promoting the secretion of lung surfactant, increasing the movement of bronchial cilia, and making sputum easier to cough up.

It is suitable for acute and chronic respiratory diseases, such as sticky sputum and difficulty in expectoration caused by acute and chronic bronchial asthma, bronchiectasis, and tuberculosis. Neonatal respiratory distress syndrome and neonatal hyaline membrane disease. Prevention and treatment of lung complications before and after surgery.

Intravenous push and intravenous drip: For intravenous push, dilute this product with 10~20ml 5% glucose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection and then push it; for intravenous drip, add this product to 100ml 5% glucose injection or 0.9% sodium chloride injection and drip it intravenously. Adults: 2~3 times a day, 15mg each time, in severe cases, it can be increased to 30mg each time or follow the doctor's advice if necessary; children over 6 years old: 2~3 times a day, 15mg each time; children 2~6 years old: 3 times a day, 7.5mg each time; children under 2 years old: 2 times a day, 7.5mg each time. For the treatment of infant respiratory distress syndrome (IRDS), the total daily medication weight is calculated based on the infant's weight. It is administered in four doses and should be administered using a syringe pump. The intravenous infusion time should be at least 5 minutes. This product can also be mixed with 5% glucose, 0.9% sodium chloride, fructose or Ringer's solution for intravenous infusion.

The adverse reactions of this product are rare and well tolerated. Mild gastrointestinal side effects have been reported, mainly stomach discomfort, stomach pain, diarrhea, and occasional nausea and vomiting. Allergic reactions rarely occur.

The simultaneous use of this product with antibiotics (amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin, doxycycline) may lead to an increase in the concentration of antibiotics in lung tissue. No clinically relevant adverse effects caused by combined use of this product with other drugs have been reported.
