Carbazochrome Sodium Sulfonate for Injection

This product can reduce the permeability of capillaries and enhance the retraction of broken ends of capillaries. It is often used for various types of bleeding caused by increased capillary permeability.

The main ingredient of this product is sodium carbazochrome sulfonate, and its chemical name is sodium 1-methyl-6-oxo-2,3,5,6-tetrahydroindole-5-semicarbazone-2-sulfonate.

This product is orange-yellow freeze-dried block or powder; it is hygroscopic and easily soluble in water.

It is used for bleeding in the urinary system, upper digestive tract, respiratory tract and gynecological diseases. It has a more significant effect on urinary system bleeding and can also be used for trauma and surgical bleeding.

Before use, add an appropriate amount of sterile water for injection or sodium chloride injection to dissolve. Intramuscular injection: 20 mg once, twice a day; or add to infusion for intravenous drip: 60~80 mg each time.

Some patients experienced nausea, dizziness, and redness and pain at the injection site, but no serious adverse reactions were observed.
