Indication
1. Used as an antidote for folic acid antagonists (such as methotrexate, pyrimethamine or trimethoprim, etc.). 2. Used to prevent and treat severe toxic effects caused by overdose or high-dose treatment of methotrexate. 3. Can also be used to treat megaloblastic anemia caused by folic acid deficiency. 4. Used in combination with 5-fluorouracil to treat advanced colon and rectal cancer.
