Appearance
This product is a colorless or almost colorless clear liquid with a sweet taste.
Indication
1. Replenish energy and body fluids; used for insufficiency of food intake or loss of a large amount of body fluids (such as vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) caused by various reasons, total intravenous nutrition, starvation ketosis. 2. Drug diluent.
Usage and Dosage
Intravenous drip, take the medicine as directed by the doctor.
Adverse Reactions
1. Eating less and supplementing glucose solution for a long time may cause electrolyte disorders such as hypokalemia and hyponatremia. 2. Overdose of this product in patients with heart failure may cause palpitations, arrhythmia, dyspnea, and even acute left heart failure. 3. Hypophosphatemia is prone to occur when used in combination with insulin without paying attention to phosphate supplementation. 4. Phlebitis may occur at the injection site.
Precautions
It is contraindicated in patients with diabetes or severe heart failure complicated by edema.
