Function and Efficacy
This product acts directly on the gastrointestinal wall, increasing gastrointestinal motility and tension, promoting gastric emptying, increasing gastric antrum and duodenal motility, coordinating pyloric contraction, and also enhancing esophageal motility and the tension of the lower esophageal sphincter, inhibiting nausea and vomiting. This product is not easy to pass through the blood-brain barrier.

Appearance
This product is white tablets.
Indication
Used for indigestion, abdominal distension, belching, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration: Adults take 1 tablet at a time, 3 times a day, 15 to 30 minutes before meals.
Adverse Reactions
1. Occasionally mild abdominal cramps, dry mouth, rash, headache, diarrhea, nervousness, fatigue, drowsiness, dizziness, etc. 2. Sometimes it leads to increased serum prolactin levels, galactorrhea, and feminization of male breasts, but it returns to normal after stopping the drug.
Precautions
It is contraindicated for patients with pheochromocytoma, breast cancer, mechanical intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.
Special Population Medication
Precautions for children: Children under 1 year old have an incompletely developed blood-cerebrospinal fluid barrier, so the possibility of central side effects on infants under 1 year old cannot be ruled out. Precautions for pregnancy and lactation: Animal experiments show that domperidone can cause malformations of rat bones and internal organs, and can be secreted from rat milk. Therefore, pregnant women and women who may become pregnant should avoid using this product, and breastfeeding women should use this product with caution. Precautions for the elderly: Elderly patients use the same medication as adults, but with age, liver and kidney function declines. Please use under the guidance of an experienced physician.
Drug Interactions
1. It should not be used in combination with azole antifungal drugs such as ketoconazole and itraconazole, macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin, HIV protease inhibitors and nefazodone. 2. Anticholinergic drugs such as tacrolimus, propantheline bromide, scopolamine, belladonna tablets, etc. will weaken the effect of this product and should not be taken with this product. 3. Antacids and drugs that inhibit gastric acid secretion can reduce the bioavailability of this product and should not be taken with this product. 4. When this product is used in combination with digoxin, the latter's absorption will be reduced. 5. If used with other drugs at the same time, drug interactions may occur.
