Function and Efficacy
The results of preclinical animal experiments indicate that this product can increase the propulsion rate of charcoal powder in the small intestine of mice; shorten the time from oral administration of charcoal powder to the discharge of black stool in mice; antagonize the delayed gastric emptying in mice caused by atropine; inhibit the secretion of gastric juice and gastric acid; and increase the contraction rate and amplitude of isolated guinea pig ileum muscle and isolated rat gastric strips.
Ingredients
Betel nut, fried morning glory seeds, tangerine peel, costus root, ginger magnolia bark, vinegar-soaked Trillium, vinegar-soaked Curcuma, and pig's tooth soap.
Appearance
This product is a hard capsule, the contents of which are brown to tan granules; it has a fragrant smell and a slightly bitter and astringent taste.
Indication
It can eliminate stagnation, promote qi flow and relieve pain. It is used for chest and flank distension, stomach pain, belching, nausea, and poor appetite caused by qi stagnation and food stagnation.
Usage and Dosage
Oral administration, 3 capsules at a time, twice a day.
Adverse Reactions
Some patients may experience diarrhea.
Precautions
It is forbidden for pregnant women to use.
