Description
Acrylic acid is an important organic synthetic material and a synthetic resin monomer. It is a vinyl monomer with very fast polymerization speed. The simplest unsaturated carboxylic acid is composed of a vinyl group and a carboxyl group. Pure acrylic acid is a colorless, clear liquid with a pungent odor. It can be dissolved with water, alcohol, ether and chloroform, and it is made from propylene produced in refinery. Most used in the manufacture of methyl acrylate, ethyl ester, butyl ester, hydroxyl ethyl ester and other acrylic ester.
