As the largest L-Tryptophan production base in China, annual production value is nearly 1 billion RMB, it is equipped with the “Provincial Enterprise Technology Center” and “Tryptophan Engineering Technology Research Center of Henan Province”. The company possesses 12 factories: Tryptophan plant, Threonine plant, Glucose plant, Corn starch plant, Modified starch plant, Corn oil plant, Sewage treatment plant, Power plant etc.; The main products include: L-Tryptophan, L-Threonine and other high value-added Amino acid, Corn starch, Crystal glucose, etc.　　In recent years, by means of analysing the market situation at home and abroad, centered around the goal of the strategic transformation and upgrading of enterprises, the company actively adjusted the industrial structure, and determined to take the deep processing of corn starch and the production of high-tech amino acid products as the direction for development; under the help and support of Amino Acid Center of China Fermentation Industry Association and Tianjin University of Science and Technology, the company relied on the R&D Center and organized scientific research personnel to tackle the key problems existing in the L-tryptophan production process.
