Description
Main ingredients: n-butyl potassium xanthate
Properties: Light yellow powder (or granular), easily soluble in water, deliquescence, and pungent odor.
Structural formula: C4H9OCSSK
Uses: Potassium butylxanthate is a flotation agent with strong collection ability. It is widely used in mixed flotation of various nonferrous metal sulfide ores. This product is especially suitable for the flotation of chalcopyrite, sphalerite, pyrite, etc. Under certain conditions, it can be used to preferentially float copper sulfide ore from iron sulfide ore, and can also float copper sphalerite activated by zinc sulfate.
