Citric acid Citric acid, also known as: citric acid, is divided into a water citric acid and anhydrous citric acid two kinds of characteristics: colorless, odorless, translucent, rhombic crystal or white to fine powder crystallization. Soluble in water (one substance 209g/100ml, 25 degrees; anhydrous 59.2g/100ml, 20 DEG C; 1% solution, pH = 2.31) and alcohol. A water molecule containing citric acid crystallization, weathering in dry air, deliquescence in moist air. Specific gravity 1.542 (water substance) to 1.67 (anhydrous), melting point 135 DEG C (a water substance) and 153 DEG C (anhydrous). Natural products are found in citrus fruits such as lemons: they are mainly used in food and beverage industries as sour agents, flavorings, preservatives, and preservatives. Can also be used in the chemical industry, cosmetics industry and washing industry as antioxidants, plasticizers, detergents and so on. Reagent for chemical analysis; used as an experimental reagent, a chromatographic analytical reagent, and a biochemical reagent; used as a complexing agent and as a masking agent.
