Lactic acid Application

Disinfectant: L-lactic acid has a strong bactericidal effect and is used as a disinfectant in the field.

Degradable device raw materials: L-lactic acid can be further processed into polylactic acid, polylactic acid can be degraded, and can be used in biodegradable fibers (made into surgical sutures), biological implants and other fields.

2. Daily chemical field:

Moisturizer: Lactic acid is used to prepare cleaning products, skin lotions or body washes, and has obvious effects on improving skin tissue structure, eliminating wrinkles, pigmentation, treating rough skin and hemorrhoids.

3. Industrial field:

Complexing agent: In electroless nickel plating, lactic acid is the first choice for acidic electroless nickel plating complexing agent because of its fast plating speed and good stability.

Degradable raw materials: Polylactic acid can be made from lactic acid. Because polylactic acid has good biodegradability, it will replace petroleum-based polyethylene products in the future.

4. Other areas:

Adding lactic acid to tobacco can maintain the humidity of the tobacco and improve the quality of the cigarette.
