After oral administration, the blood concentration of neomycin reaches its peak 2-4 hours after taking the medication, and the effective concentration can be maintained for up to 12 hours. The blood half-life after oral administration is 3 hours, and the binding rate with serum protein can reach 95%. Neomycin is widely distributed in the body, especially in the liver and bile, where the concentration is about 2-8 times higher than the blood concentration. About one-third of the oral dose is excreted from the feces, and only about 2-3% of neomycin appears in the urine. This product is not easy to enter the cerebrospinal fluid. The concentration of breast milk can reach 6-25% of blood concentration.
