(R)-3-AMino-pyrrolidine-3-carboxylic acid is a non-protein component amino acid with insect repellent activity isolated. Present in the Cucurbitaceae plant Cucurbita moschata Duch. Seed, zucchini Cucurbita pepo L. seed. It has an insect repellent effect and is effective for canine and mouse canine cysts, bean worms and mouse short-shelled aphids. In vitro tests showed that the 1:500 solution caused significant excitement and even contracture of canine aphids and synergistic effect with arecoline hydrobromide. It has obvious inhibitory effect on the growth and development of schistosomiasis larvae, but can not kill adult mice, but can make the amphoteric worm shrink, the reproductive organs degenerate, and the uterus eggs decrease. This product can make mice liver cells slightly atrophic, a small amount of fat infiltration in the liver, and quickly return to normal.
