Product description:It is an ester compound and can be used as a reagent for modifying histidine and tyrosine in diethyl pyrocarbonate. It is also a chemical modifier for RNase. It reacts with the imidazole ring of histidine, the active group of RNase, to inhibit RNase activity.Melting point 69ºC Boiling point 93-94 °C18 mm Hg(lit.) density 1.12 g/mL at 20 °C refractive index n20/D 1.398(lit.)
