Product description:Butenafine hydrochloride is a benzylamine derivative with antifungal activity. Its structure and antibacterial mechanism are similar. The only structure is that the gene is replaced by the methyl group of benzene butyrate Chemicalbook. It has antibacterial and bactericidal activity, and has a broad antibacterial spectrum. Mainly used for tinea pedis, tinea corporis, and jock itch caused by sensitive bacteria.

It has a role as an EC 1.14.13.132 (squalene monooxygenase) inhibitor and an antifungal drug. It is a hydrochloride and an ammonium salt. Butenafine hydrochloride interferes with the biosynthesis of ergosterol, an important component of fungal cell membranes, by inhibiting the epoxidation of squalene.
