Ranitidine hydrochloride (RHCl) is a histamine H2 receptor antagonist. Ranitidine hydrochloride has been widely used in nearly 100 countries including China since it was listed in 1981. It is clinically used for the treatment of duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis and Zollinger-Ellisonsyndrome, and has the function of preventing gastrointestinal bleeding caused by stress ulcer and recurrent bleeding of peptic ulcer in recent ten years.

Through the study of ranitidine and its combined use with other drugs, it was found that ranitidine has high efficiency and significant characteristics in the treatment of helicobacter pylori positive duodenal ulcer, urticaria and stress ulcer after cerebral hemorrhage, and the effect is obviously better than other similar drugs.

Ranitidine hydrochloride plays an important role in the market of anti-ulcer drugs because of its rapid action, good efficacy and low price. Therefore, strict quality control is of great significance in guiding patients to use drugs reasonably and safely.
