Uses:A selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) used as an anti-depressant. Antiobsessional.

Depression is recommended starting dose of 50 mg or 100 mg daily, taken once night. Increment gradually until effective. Commonly used effective dose of 100 mg per day, and can be adjusted according to personal response. Individual cases can be increased to 300 mg daily. If the daily dose of more than 150 mg, can be divided into several doses. WHO requires the patient to continue taking antidepressants for at least 6 months after symptom relief. The drug used to prevent the recurrence of depression recommended dose of 100 mg daily. Obsessive-compulsive disorder is recommended starting dose of 50 mg daily for 3-4 days, usually in an effective dose of 100-300 mg daily. Should be gradually increased until the effective dose is reached. The daily maximum dose for adults is 300 mg, and the daily maximum dose for children and adolescents over 8 years old is 200 mg. A single oral dose can be increased to 150 mg daily, before going to bed. If the daily dose of more than 150 mg, can be divided 2-3 times service.
