carbonyl carbon atom included in the six membered ring. Colorless transparent liquid, with earthy smell, with trace amount

of phenol, with mint flavor. The impure substance is light yellow, with the storage time generated impurities and color,

water white to grayish yellow, with a strong pungent odor. Slightly soluble in water, miscible in alcohol, ether, benzene,

acetone and other organic solvents.
