Oclacitinib mainly shows activity against JAK1-dependent cytokines and also inhibits the function of JAK2-dependent cytokines. oclacitinib modifies the production of cytokines such as IL-4 and IL-13, which are crucial for B-cell proliferation and maturation in the pathogenesis of pemphigus foliaceus. Oclacitinib could interdict the effects of IL-6, a cytokine involved in the Toll-like receptor 4-originated signaling pathway in the bladder epithelial cells, and IL-8, which could theoretically contribute to a decreased defense against the urinary pathogens[1-4].Basic Info-
