Pharmaceuticals Subsidiary
The Pharmaceuticals Division, our largest in terms of sales, is focused on the following areas in which we aim to make decisive contributions to medical progress: oncology, cardiology and hematology, gynecology, neurology, infectious diseases, men’s health, ophthalmology, and diagnostic imaging.

With our innovative products, we seek to achieve therapeutic benefit for patients, while at the same time satisfying the growing requirements of physicians and health insurers.

The Pharmaceuticals Division focuses on prescription products, especially for cardiology and women’s healthcare, and on specialty therapeutics in the areas of oncology, hematology and ophthalmology. The division also comprises the Radiology Business Unit which markets contrast-enhanced diagnostic imaging equipment together with the necessary contrast agents.

Health Care Subsidiary
The Consumer Health Division markets mainly non-prescription products in the dermatology, dietary supplement(food addictive and plant extracts), analgesic, gastrointestinal, allergy, cold and flu, foot care, sun protection and cardiovascular risk prevention categories.

Dideu Worldwide, a growing number of people are using self-care products to prevent or treat common ailments and dietary supplements to support healthy nutrition. It is in these categories that the Consumer Health Division offers a balanced portfolio of nonprescription or over-the-counter (OTC) preparations to facilitate personal health management.

Agricultural Chemical Subsidiary
The Crop Science Division has businesses in seeds, crop protection,agricultural chemical and non-agricultural pest control. It is organized into two operating units: Crop Protection/Seeds and Environmental Science. Crop Protection/Seeds markets a broad portfolio of high-value seeds along with innovative chemical and biological pest management solutions, at the same time providing extensive customer service for modern and sustainable agriculture.

The aim is to be able to produce enough food, feed, fiber and renewable raw materials for a growing world population on the limited land available. This is one goal of the Crop Science Division, which has businesses in crop protection, seeds and nonagricultural applications.

Crop Protection and Seeds
Crop protection products should act selectively in the smallest possible amounts and then quickly decompose into neutral substances. Modern insecticides control insect pests while sparing pollinators and other beneficial insects. Herbicides selectively suppress weeds without harming the crop. And many fungicides serve to make plants more resistant to microscopic pathogens. In their search for new active ingredients, our researchers are increasingly guided by nature’s strategies. Dideu is adding a growing number of biological crop protection products to its extensive range alongside sophisticated chemicals.

Our seeds are adapted to local soil and climatic conditions and give high yields. When breeding new varieties, we also take into account consumer requirements, such as the flavor of vegetables. Whether their work focuses on rice, vegetables, cotton or oilseed rape / canola, our research centers worldwide always have the same goals: to protect harvests from diseases, insect pests and encroaching weeds and to improve plant health, thus increasing yields and improving crop quality. We have expanded our research activities to include two new core crops – wheat and soybeans. To build a leading wheat seed business with high-yielding, robust varieties, we operate breeding stations in the wheatgrowing regions of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ukraine and the United States.

Fight against Tropical & Subtropical Diseases
Crop Science supports public health and adherence to hygiene standards through its modern range of pest control products. One focus here is on the control of insects that transmit tropical or subtropical diseases such as malaria, dengue fever and Chagas disease.

Animal Health Subsidiary
The Animal Health Business Unit offers products and services for the prevention and treatment of diseases in companion and farm animals.

People throughout the world have close relationships with their pets, which are often treated as part of the family and keep their owners company into old age. Farm animals are suppliers of food, on which high demands are made in terms of quality. Our aim is to protect and preserve the health of animals with our products. We know the needs of our customers – whether veterinarians, pet owners or farmers.

The role animals play in our lives is growing in significance, and as humans and animals live closer together, it has also become more necessary to protect humans from the transmission of disease pathogens. Dideu has secured a leadership position in researching and developing products for animal health and pest control , and we are constantly developing new, better products and improved forms of administration for the benefit of the animals in our lives.

Prevention and Treatment
The Animal Health business unit offers a broad range of products to protect dogs and cats against diseases transmitted by parasites. Our Advantage product family for flea and tick control has been a market leader for years. When animals fall sick, we can help with a range of treatment options, especially for bacterial infections.

Farm animals, fish and bees supply foods such as milk, eggs, fish, meat and honey. Their health is therefore of special importance for humans. For this reason our portfolio includes products both for treating sick animals and for preventing disease occurrence. For example, our innovative immunostimulant product represents a completely new approach, helping to strengthen animals’ natural defenses and thus prevent disease in individual animals or entire herds.

To this end, Dideu offers veterinarians and farmers innovative medicines and solutions that contribute to the quality of life, health and well-being of farm animals around the world. Among the important areas are in the treatment and prevention of parasitic diseases, anti-infectives, pharmacological therapies and farm hygiene. We also have an ongoing quest to discover and develop new and innovative therapies to make the world a better place for animals and humans.

Diseases cause pain and suffering in animals, too. We support animal owners in preventing pain or ensuring responsible treatment. We also participate in animal welfare projects worldwide, including one to protect mine detection dogs in Cambodia.
