Product Detail

Photoinitiator 127 is a novel UV photoinitiator with high efficiency and non-yellowing, which is used to initiate the UV polymerization reaction of unsaturated prepolymerization system. Compared with the traditional α-hydroxy ketone photoinitiator, the photoinitiator has superior reactivity. Low sensitivity to oxygen, better surface curing effect; High molecular weight, low volatilization and low odor after curing. Suitable for low viscosity, thin coating UV coating. It is especially suitable for UV varnishes and topcoats that have requirements for odor.

Photoinitiator 127 is particularly suitable for all types of UV inks and clear coatings, especially thin coatings such as copy varnish. The photoinitiator 127 can be used alone or in combination with 379,819. It has a red shift absorption spectrum and can be used in UV-curable inks and ordinary semi-opaque systems. In practical application, it shows very high curing speed and low odor, and has remarkable surface curing property in UV curing ink. Low volatility and low sensitivity to oxygen polymerization make photoinitiator 127 good for photocopying varnishes (inks) and wood floor topcoats.

Recommended dosage

Transparent coating: 1 -- 6%

Photoinitiator 127 ink (free radical system) : 2-5%

Photoinitiator 127 and 379, 819 complex ink (cationic system) : 0.5-2%

Storage conditions

Photoinitiator 127 should be stored at room temperature/cool, low temperature and dry conditions, and should not be exposed to sunlight

The shelf life of photoinitiator 127 is 2 years.
