    Product features

Boron trioxide (also known as boron oxide/boric anhydride), colorless glassy crystal or powder, melting point 450℃. Has a strong water absorption and change to boric acid, so should be placed in a dry environment sealed preservation, prevent water absorption deterioration caused by content decline, slightly soluble in cold water, easy to dissolve in hot water, boric anhydride for colorless glass crystal or powder, tasteless, the surface has a sense of slippery, at high temperature can be alkali metal or magnesium, aluminum reduced to monomer boron. Oxidation can be dissolved in acid, ethanol, hot water, slightly soluble in cold water, can be combined with a number of metals into boron glass with characteristic color, can be completely miscible with alkali, metal copper, silver, aluminum, arsenic, tin oxides. The density of crystallized boron oxide is 2.46g/cm3, the density of amorphous boron oxide is 1.80-1.84g/cm3, melting point :557℃, solubility :(g/100gH20):1.1(0℃)15.7(100℃). It is easy to absorb water, become turbidity after absorbing temperature, and also soluble in alcohol. At low temperature, boron trioxide crystals can be obtained by dehydration of H3BO3. The crystal contains BO4 tetrahedral structure units with a density of 1.805g/cm3 and a melting point of 450℃. The density of vitreous boron oxide is 1.795g/cm3. When the temperature rises, it gradually becomes soft and becomes liquid when it reaches the high temperature of red heat, and the boiling point is 1500℃. Boron can also be directly combined with oxygen to produce B2O3. Our company also produces electronic grade boron anhydride and industrial grade boron anhydride, low iron content, can meet the production needs of customers.
