Sodium diacetate is a molecular compound of sodium acetate and acetic acid, referred to as SDA, also known as sodium hydrogen diacetate and sodium diacetate, also known as solid acetic acid in Japan. The appearance is white crystal powder, with hygroscopicity and slight acetic acid smell.

Application

1. Sodium diacetate is a multifunctional edible chemical. It is mainly used as preservative, anti mildew agent, chelating agent, seasoning agent, pH regulator and preservation agent of meat products in food and feed industry. It is also the main ingredient of compound anti mildew agent
2. Sodium diacetate can be mixed with other flavoring agents and sweeteners. It can also be used as an anti mildew agent and food quality improver. It is widely used as anti mildew additive for food, feed, grain and silage (mainly for anti mildew, fresh-keeping and improving nutritional value).
