CaCl2 Calcium Chloride 74% White flakes

Calcium chloride, colourless crystals, generally white, off-white or slightly yellow crystals, bitter and astringent, with strong deliquescence. Relative density 1.835. soluble in water, its aqueous solution is neutral or slightly alkaline, corrosive. Soluble in alcohol, insoluble in ether. Dehydrates to anhydrous when heated to 260°C.

For the regulation of water, electrolytes and acid-base balance. For calcium deficiency and allergic disorders. It can be used for hand and foot convulsions caused by reduced blood calcium, as well as intestinal colic and ureteric colic. Also used in urticaria, exudative oedema, pruritic skin diseases, vitamin D deficiency rickets, chondromalacia, calcium salt supplementation in pregnant and lactating women.
